About the itechstyle summit
The iTechStyle Summit, held in Porto from April 2nd to 4th, 2019, was organized by CITEVE. This event brought together key stakeholders within the textile sector with the aim of promoting and facilitating the transfer of research and innovation knowledge to students and trainees. The summit provided a valuable platform for networking, learning, and showcasing advancements in the textile and clothing industries. Texstra actively participated in this important industry gathering.
Texstra's presence
Texstra was prominently represented at the iTechStyle Summit. Representatives from AEI Tèxtils, UMINHO, and TUIASI, all partners within the Texstra project, were also in attendance. The primary focus of their participation was the dissemination and promotion of the Texstra project's objectives and outcomes to a wider audience within the textile community. Texstra project overview
The Texstra project (Nr. 2017-1-RO01-KA203-037289) is funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union. Its core aim is to bring together stakeholders within the textile sector. They are working to promote and contribute to transferring research and innovation knowledge to students & trainees of the textile/clothing sector via project-based learning. This approach ensures that theoretical knowledge is applied in practical settings.
