This ambition, fueled by a desire to circumvent the app distribution control wielded by tech giants like Apple, has been hinted at before.

The initial report sent ripples through the tech community, prompting the inevitable question: why would SpaceX, a company primarily focused on space exploration and satellite internet, venture into the consumer electronics arena?
