The TriFold's original 5,600 mAh battery was destined for replacement.

However, fitting them into the TriFold's existing chassis proved to be a monumental challenge. Allen had to physically modify the phone’s internal structure, grinding down portions of the chassis, including the bottom speaker, to accommodate the larger cells.
